Deer Park is a city in Spokane County, Washington, located approximately 20 miles north of Spokane. As of 2019, its population was estimated at 4,364. Established in 1889 and officially incorporated on June 24, 1908, the city was named by railroad surveyors who observed deer grazing in the area. Deer Park offers several parks, an 18-hole golf course, and hosts annual events such as Settlers Days in July and a Summer Concert Series in Mix Park. The city is served by the Deer Park School District, which operates multiple schools, including Deer Park Elementary and Deer Park High School.
